BASEBALL
When wagering on Baseball you have a number of options;
1) Action - A wager in
which no starting pitcher is specified. If there is a pitcher change before
the game your bet will still have action at an adjusted price.
2) Select – A wager in
which you specify the starting pitcher for either team. If the pitcher
selected does not start your wager will be graded no action.
3) Listed – A wager in
which both pitchers for either team must start of the game. If there is a
change in either pitcher your wager will be graded "NO ACTION".
All baseball total and
run-line wagers are listed pitchers only. A PITCHER IS DEEMED A STARTING
PITCHER AFTER THROWING ONE PITCH. *Note: when wagering online, If you click
on the pitchers name your wagers will be "LISTED". If you click on the
moneyline, your wagers will be "ACTION"
Baseball games are considered
official after 5 innings of play (4˝ if the home team is winning). If a game
is called or suspended after 5 innings the winner is determined by the score
after the last full inning of play - unless the home team scores to tie or
takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning. The winner is then
determined by the score at the time the game is called. When betting on
baseball totals or run-lines, the game must go 9 innings (8˝ if the home
team is winning). If game does not go required number of innings all total
and run-line wagers will be graded “no action”.
HOCKEY
Types of wagers available for hockey: Straight (puck-line & money-line: the
team wagered on must win by more then the point spread with the payout
determined by the moneyline.), totals, Grand Salami (the over/under total
for the combined score of all the hockey games on the same day) and a great
selection of propositions.
GOLF
Types of wagers available for golf: Odds to win & place (top four)
tournament, odds to win foursome, straight bets on daily matchups (odds plus
stroke line with odds), and propositions.
For any wager, if the selected player (or opponent if daily matchup) does
not tee off, the wager is "no action", and the wager amount will be
refunded.
If a round is postponed due
to inclement weather or any other reason, all matchups for a round or
tournament will be ACTION as long as the round and tournament are played
within a week of the original established dates of the round or tournament.
If the round or tournament is cancelled or played on dates outside that
range, then wagers for that round and/or tournament will be graded NO
ACTION.
stroke
line
For stroke line wagers, the player with the "+" is the favorite and the "-"
is the underdog (e.g., you wager on David Duval (+2) over Fred Couples,
Couples shoots 68 and Duval 67: Couples is the winner by a margin of one
stroke since Duval +2 =69 which is one more than Couples shot. Duval was
favored by two strokes.
Odds to Place: wager on a player to finish in first through fourth place for
the tournament.
*If there is a tie for fourth place, the payouts are calculated by dividing
the payout odds by the number of players tied for fourth place (e.g., you
wager US$10 on Tiger Woods to place, his place odds are 6 to 1, and three
players tie for fourth place: payout= 6 / 3 = 2; US$10 x 2 = US$20 total
winnings).
Odds to Win Foursome: wager on a player to place higher than the other
players in the tournament. If there is a tie, the leader following the
previous round is the winner. If two players tie every round, the player who
was leading latest in the final round is the winner.
Daily Match-ups: wager on one player to place higher than another, either
for the tournament of the specified round. If there is a tie, the wager
amount will be refunded.
TENNIS
Types of wagers available for tennis: Odds to win tournament, odds to win
daily matches, and propositions.
AUTO
RACING
All match-ups have action after both drivers have crossed the start/finish
line at beginning of the race.
If a driver is replaced by an alternate driver during a race, the new driver
replaces the old driver in all match-ups, propositions, and futures wagers.
The new driver’s finishing position is credited to the original driver.
BOXING
In the event of a Draw - When the option “DRAW” is available all wagers
placed on individual fighters to win will be graded as a loss.
When wagering a fight will go over or under a specified number of rounds, if
a fighter fails to answer the bell for the start of any round, the fight
officially ended in the last round completed.
SOCCER
This involves betting on the outcome of a match in 90 minutes (i.e. 1st half
and 2nd half), choosing whether the game will end in a home win an away win
or draw. Extra time does not count in this case - as in many Cup Matches,
when goals scored in extra-time do not count for betting purposes. However,
separate odds are often quoted for a team to go through to the next round
(either through winning in extra-time, by penalties or by the golden goal) -
these bets are usually termed "outright winner" bets, as opposed to "within
90 minutes winner" bet.
OTHER
Wagering will be available on other sports and special events, and will be
included in the futures page.
